* Little Boy's Thunder Run *

1991 POA 52" PHC Gelding
ROM (NT) ROM(T) POA ROM
Little Boy was the pony that got us started in POAs. We bought him in 1998 as
a gaming pony to show at the barrel racing shows. He had all the
charcteristics to be a POA and we already had Rocket (a registered POA that we didn't
show), so we decided to hardship Little Boy into the POA Club. He is only 52"
(13h) tall and from an unknown background, but he has proven to be one of the top
POA game ponies in the country.

Little Boy is used mostly for Games but has also competed in Reining, Western
Riding, and Jumping. In 1999, at the Tennessee State Saddle Club Show, Little
Boy won Figure 8 Flags out of the state's top 100 ponies of all breeds. It is
one of the toughest competitions and basically equals an International POA
show in competitiveness. It was Little Boy's best moment ever.

In 2002, Little Boy started showing POA. He had never done anything in his
life except Barrels, Poles, and Flags. Most of the POA games were new to him but
he caught on very quickly. He had also never done Halter, Reining, Western
Riding, or Jumping. He flew through the riding events like he was running games
but eventually he caught on to those as well. By the end of the year, he was
doing great and won the Florida POAC High Point Gaming Pony 13-18 at the
Turkey Circuit. He was the #4 pony in the Tennessee POAC in 2002.
2003 South East Regional High Point and Reserve High Point 13-18 Games
In 2003, he continued to do western riding, reining, and jumping and he
greatly improved. Although he is still a little fast, he has learned how to control
all that energy! At the 2003 South East Regional, he was High Point Gaming
Pony 13-18. At the International Show, Little Boy placed in many Game classes
and was Reserve International Champion in Figure 8 Barrels 13-18. He was also
the #3 Pony and High Point in Jumping and Games 13-18 in the TNPOAC. He is
ranked #4 in the Nation in Medium Halter Geldings. He finished his ROM in Timed
Events, Non Timed Events, and he achieved his POA ROM. At the 2004 POA International Show he was a four time Reserve International Champion in games.
Little Boy was once again the High Point Timed Events pony for the TNPOAC as well as being the #8 Perofrmance Pony Overall in Tennessee. We are looking forward to a GREAT 2005, and we are planning to hit all the major shows this year including the International.
Little Boy lacks only a
few grands to become a Supreme Champion. Not bad for a 52" hardshipped "wild"
game pony! He is for sale to the right home.
