Kiss is the main show pony. She is extremly smart and talented and readily accepts new tasks. She was bought in 2001 and has since then won many awards. She is very talented in many areas but her strong points are in Reining, Western Riding, Trail, Showmanship, Hunt Seat, Horsemanship, and especially Pleasure Driving. She is one of the best POAs we have ever had. Every year she surprises us at what she can attain in the showring. She has proven herself to be a top competitor in many events that require athleticism, responsiveness, and brains. Her list of accomplishments goes on and on.

In 2001 she was the NE regional Jr. Western Pleasure champion which was a big surprise for us. In 2002, she moved up and became the main show pony. She placed in 17 classes at the NE Regional in Bel Air, MD that year winning 5 of those classes. She was the #1 Pony in the Tennessee POA Club, High Point Halter Mare, High Point Girl 13-18, High Point Equitation 13-18, and High Point in Trail, Western Riding, Reining, Sr. Western Pleasure, Sr. English Pleasure, 13-18 Western Pleasure, 13-18 English Pleasure, Costume, and Timed Events 13-18. She also had many High Points at local POA and open shows. At the Florida Turkey Circuit, she was High Point Equitation 13-18 and 3rd Overall for High Point 13-18. She was ranked #5 in the Nation in Large Halter Mares and #6 in 13-18 Bareback Equitation Girls.

In 2003, Kiss was again TNPOAC's #1 Pony, High Point 13-18 Equitation, Girl, and Overall winner, as well as winning High Point in many classes such as Youth Pleasure Driving, Reining, and Western Riding among others. At the South East, North East, Mid East, and Mid America Regionals this year, she won a total of 11 classes including Western Riding 13-18, Reining 13-18, Youth Pleasure Driving, Adult Pleasure Driving, Trail 13-18, and Flags 13-18. At the 2003 International Show she was the Reserve International Champion in Sr. Reining, 3rd in Youth Pleasure Driving, and 6th in Western Riding 13-18. Kiss ended up #1 in the Nation in Youth Pleasure Driving, #3 in the Nation in Adult Pleasure Driving, and #4 in the Nation in Western Riding all ages.

She has accomplished more in three years than can be put on paper. In 2004, Kiss took time off to be a mom. She had a beautiful chocolate filly by Southwinds Tough E Nough (see Foal Page). Now for 2005, we have plans to show Kiss at the regionals and International in Reining and Western Riding. So look out for her at the big shows!
